Please join us this Monday, July 26, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Library parking lot and Rest Area in Garrison for our second Garrison Market of the season. Our Lions Club will be grilling burgers, brats, and hotdogs for a free-will donation. There will be vendors selling baked goods, produce, and other items as well. They need your support! If you have any products you would like to sell, there is still time to register and be part of this. BoomFest Plans for August 28

SHIIP will be sponsoring a "Welcome To Medicare" meeting at First Christian Church (1209 W 13th St) on August 19th from 6-8 pm. You must register by August 11th. To reserve your spot call 319-472-2544 or call SH IP at 800-351-4664 and mention the Benton County meeting. If you are approaching Medicare age and need some understanding, this will be an excellent opportunity for you.
AMVETS Food Trailer to be at Theisen's on Friday and Saturday, July 23rd & 24th
Area AMVETS will be grilling brats and hot dogs, in the Theisen's parking lot on Friday and Saturday this week. Also included in the meal will be chips, soda or water. Serving will begin at 11 a.m.The cost - Freewill Donation. Come on out and support the AMVETS!

Wesley United Methodist Church, the Vinton Presbyterian Church and Bethlehem Lutheran Church are combining their efforts to bring Vinton Knights of the North Castle. Vacation Bible School will be held at the Wesley United Methodist Church on July 25-29, from 6-8 p.m. Ages 4-12 are welcome to register and attend.Cokesbury's VBS, Knights of North Castle: Quest for the King's Armor, invites children to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of God's power by exploring how we put on the armor of God.
